Designing Learning & Performance Solutions

The keys to successful prototyping are revision; feedback and approach. Prototyping your design concepts can be an effective way to illustrate ideas. Prototypes provide a visual guide to the finished product. There are many tools that are easily integrated with your existing design process and I used Axure for this process.
This course is key for any designer ,planning, creating and designing an interactive interface and /or prototype using a designing tool, and ensuring that the design incorporates effective and efficient features of CSCL/CSCW Tool are necessary for any individual in this field. I appreciate the guidance I received in this course as this would assist me in successfully completing my design project prototype.Prototypes encourage collaboration among team members and E-Learning encourages collaboration and this was the main strategy that made the final group project for this course a success. I consider what was done in the course The Rapid Prototyping Process of design which involves multiple iterations of Prototype; Review and refine important in the Designing of any prototype.
Designing is about changing the learning/work environment and having knowledge of the theory influences the design. This method emphasizes design through rigorous creativity, critical inquiry, and ethics. I found the iterative approach ,working collaboratively, and the feedback process relevant to making Instructional Designers” experts” in their field. The field of CSCL relies heavily on collaborative learning, it encompasses constructivism .Problem-based learning can be used here for instructional activities.Constructivist instructional design approaches which emphasize reflection can enhance learning experiences.
I added the Audio Chat feature to Slide Share, this allowed for collaboration synchronously to share information instantaneously and collaboration asynchronously to communicate without the ability to instantly respond to messages. Audio conferencing needed in E-Learning as it allows users to communicate verbally in real-time without the use of continuously updated, shared imagery. I look forward to using Virtual collaboration as an Instructional Designer ,as I strive to become an expert in the field, it would allow me the opportunity of joining project groups online and communities of practice to gain more knowledge .
